Tribe Comics and Games was founded on Halloween of 2008 by Eric and Roy. Their goal with opening Tribe was to fill South Austin’s need for a comics and games shop while providing a place for comics and games nerds like themselves to gather and find community.

Fun fact, Tribe was named after the gaming group that Eric and Roy participate in to this day!
